Ingredients
Homemade Raisin Juice
- 2 cups raisins
- 2 cups water
Apple Strudel Martini
- Ground cinnamon
- Granulated sugar
- Coarse salt
- 1/4 lemon, juiced
- 1 oz overproof rum
- 1 oz Fireball
- 1/4 oz Homemade Raisin Juice
- 1/4 oz Sour Apple schnapps
- 1/4 tsp imitation vanilla
- 2 oz Cider
- Juice of half lemon
Instructions
Homemade Raisin Juice
- In a saucepan, add raisins and water and bring to a simmer. Continue to simmer until liquid is reduced by half. Taste juice and if not strong enough, reduce further. Remove from heat and let cool.
Apple Strudel Martini
- On a plate, create a small 50/50 pile of cinnamon and sugar. Add a little bit of coarse salt. Mix well.
- Lightly squeeze lemon half while running it from lip to bottom of cup of your martini glass. Repeat if necessary so that it’s wet but not dripping.
- Press your martini glass into cinnamon, sugar, salt mixture. Repeat if necessary to get an even coat. Set aside glass.
- Combine rest of ingredients in shaker with ice. Shake until well-chilled. Strain into martini glass. Enjoy.
