This Grasshopper Cocktail stays true to the New Orleans-born classic, but with just a hint of cherry brought by the maraschino liqueur. Glancing at the ingredients, you might think this is the grandmother of a Dirty Girl Scout. And yeah—their flavors overlap—but this drink is classy and meant to be sipped after a big meal, not while you’re trying to pay for your college bar tab by showing your boobies.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 oz vodka
  • 3/4 oz crème de menthe
  • 3/4 oz crème de cacao
  • 1/2 maraschino liqueur
  • 1 oz heavy cream
  • Chocolate curls, for garnish
  • Fresh mint sprig, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a shaker with ice and shake until well-chilled. Strain into a coupe glass and garnish with chocolate curls and mint.
