COOKING INSTRUCTIONS:
Buffalo Chicken Burgers
Carrot & Celery Slaw
- In a medium bowl, mix all ingredients until well-combined. Chill until ready to serve burgers.
Buffalo Sauce
- Place butter and garlic in small bowl in microwave. Heat on 50% until butter is melted. Remove from microwave.
Combine all ingredients in a medium-sized bowl. Set aside until ready to serve burgers.
Buffalo Chicken Burgers
- Preheat grill to medium-high.
- In a medium bowl, combine ground chicken, garlic powder, chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, salt, pepper, egg, and panko. Using your hands, mix until all ingredients are evenly integrated. Form 3 patties and set aside on parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Once grill is preheated, make sure grates are well-cleaned so that burgers don’t stick. Using a brush, brush the tops of burger patties with canola oil. Then, right before putting patties on grill, liberally brush grates with oil where you plan to place patties. Place patties on grill and cook for 5-6 mins. Flip and cook for another 5-6 mins, or until burger is fully cooked through (internal temp of 165ºF). Remove from grill and set aside.
- After removing burgers, pull apart burger buns and lightly toast the cut sides, about ~1 min. Remove and set aside.
- To build 1 Buffalo Chicken Burger: top 1 bun heel with mayonnaise, pickle chips, 1 burger patty, Buffalo Sauce, bleu cheese, and Carrot & Celery Slaw, crumbles, then the bun crown. Repeat with remaining ingredients. Enjoy!
