Ingredients

  • 1 ball pizza dough
  • Basil pesto
  • Italian cheese blend, shredded
  • Tomatoes, thinly sliced
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Mozzarella, fresh
  • Parmesan, shredded
  • Basil, fresh

Caprese Pizza cut into 8 slices

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS:
Caprese Pizza

  1. Preheat oven to 425º.
  2. Cover pizza pan with foil. Spray foil with Pam. Stretch out dough to cover pan.
  3. Parbake pizza dough for 8 minutes. Remove from oven.
  4. Spread pesto evenly over dough leaving 1” of bare crust.
  5. Sprinkle Italian blend cheese evenly over crust.
  6. Evenly space tomato slices over dough so that they’re not overlapping. Salt and pepper tomatoes. Top with more Italian blend cheese.
  7. Evenly space fresh mozzarella slices over dough so that they each have enough room to melt into the spaces between them. Top with parmesan.
  8. Bake for 20-22 minutes or until cheese is bubbling.
  9. Remove from oven and top with fresh basil. Serve.
