Fig and Steak Crostini Recipe

Ingredients
Crostini
- Italian bread loaf (medium-sized), 1/2” slices
- Olive oil
- Cracked salt
- Cracked pepper
Baked Brie with Fig Preserves
- 16 oz brie cheese
- 9 oz fig jam
- Fresh thyme

- Fig jam-topped baked brie
- Arugula (dressed with lemon juice)
- Filet mignon, cooked to taste and thinly sliced
- Fresh fig slices
- Pistachios, chopped
- Hot honey
COOKING INSTRUCTIONS:

- Preheat oven to 375º.
- Drizzle bread slices with oil, then salt and pepper.
- Bake on foil-lined baking sheet for 6-8 minutes or until slices are lightly crispy on the outside but still have a good chew.
Baked Brie with Fig Preserves
- Preheat oven to 350º.
- Take brie out of packaging and place in greased baking dish. Top with a generous portion of preserves so that top of cheese is completely covered. Then top with a sprig or two of fresh thyme.
- Cover baking dish and bake for 7-10 minutes or until brie softens and preserves begin to lightly caramelize.
- Remove from oven and serve on crostini immediately.
Fig & Steak Crostini Build
- Build each crostino by spreading brie over bread slice, then topping with arugula, steak, fresh fig, and pistachios. Drizzle with hot honey. Enjoy.
