Garlic Hot Wings Recipe

These Garlic Hot Wings are straightforward af. Air-fried. Then tossed in a traditional hot sauce boosted with lots of fresh garlic and a range of spices. When wings are this good, there’s no need to get cute about switching up flavors.

Ingredients

Wing Prep

  • 4 – 5 lbs of chicken wings
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper

 

Garlic Hot Wing Sauce

  • 5 Tbsp butter
  • 1 head garlic
  • 1 1/2 cup Frank’s wing sauce
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp cumin
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS:

Wing Prep

  1. Break down the chicken wings into drumsticks and flats. Remove the wing tips from the flats.
  2. Preheat air fryer to 380º.
  3. In a large bowl, toss wings in oil, then salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Cook in air fryer for 30 minutes, flipping halfway. Remove from heat and toss in garlic hot wing sauce.

 

Garlic Hot Wing Sauce

  1. Place butter and garlic in small bowl in microwave. Heat on 50% until butter is melted. Remove from microwave.
  2. Combine all ingredients in a medium-sized bowl. Toss wings in sauce then serve.
