Grammie’s Layered Pistachio Dessert Recipe
Food Recipes | Desserts | Easter | Mother's Day | Spring
Grammie’s Layered Pistachio Dessert takes a classic ’50s dessert and elevates it with cardamom whipped cream. It’s like you’re suddenly a woman named Doris heading over to a friend’s house for a couples’ dinner during the magical era when every family was perfect and nobody ever had any problems except for saying “Shucks!” too much. You’ve been tasked to bring dessert, but little do the other ladies know, you’re about to hit them with a little razzle-dazzle and sprinkle some cardamom in your pistachio dessert. They will rant. They will rave. They will ask you for the recipe. And you’ll laugh sheepishly, lick your spoon, then say “Well, shucks.”
