COOKING INSTRUCTIONS:
Grilled Cheese Hot Dog
- Preheat grill to medium heat.
- Grill hot dogs to desired doneness. Remove from heat.
- Fill inside of hot dog bun halfway with cheddar. Lay 3-4 pickle chips on one side. Place hot dog on top of cheese and pickles. Add more cheese on top of hot dog, then carefully close bun around hot dog. Lightly purse the seam. Set aside. Repeat with remaining ingredients.
- Melt 2 Tbsp butter in large cast iron skillet over medium-high heat.
- Working three buns at a time, place buns seam side-down in pan. Cook for about 1 minute, or until cheese has become golden brown and sealed the seam shut. Brown the other sides for 30-60 seconds, or until golden brown. Remove from heat and repeat with remaining ingredients. Serve garnished with mustard. Enjoy!
