This Strawberry Basil Cottage Cheese Bowl is Kim K’s favorite breakfast. At least this week. But what a week for her tastebuds, amirite? This dish might be light, but the flavors are THICC and Kim especially appreciates how the basil and poppy seeds flirt with savory notes to contrast those juicy strawberries and sticky sweet honey. Really, this dish is, like, SO good, and we created it in honor of our #1 fan, Kimberly Konrad.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cottage cheese
  • ~20 basil leaves, julienned
  • 5 strawberries, sliced
  • 5 pineberries, sliced
  • Slivered almonds, to taste
  • Lemon zest, to taste
  • Hot honey, to taste
  • Poppy seeds, to taste
  • Honeycomb, to taste

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS:
Strawberry Basil Cottage Cheese Bowl

  1. In a small bowl, mix together cottage cheese and basil. Transfer to personal serving plate.
  2. Layer rest of ingredients to taste over top of cottage cheese mixture. Serve immediately.
