This Strawberry Basil Cottage Cheese Bowl is the quintessential influencer plate. Ingredients
- 1.5 oz fresh basil leaves
- 1/4 cup good olive oil
- 32 oz cottage cheese
- 8-10 strawberries, sliced
- Raw pistachios, to taste
- 1 lemon, zested
- Hot honey, to taste
- Poppy seeds, to taste

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS:
Strawberry Basil Cottage Cheese Bowl
- Bring a small pan of water to boil. While waiting for water to boil, prepare an ice bath in a small mixing bowl.
- Blanch basil in boiling water for 10-15 seconds. Remove from boiling water and immediately transfer to ice bath for another 10 seconds. Remove from ice bath and transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to pat dry.
- Drain ice bath bowl and dry completely. Add basil and oil to bowl then, using an immersion blender, blend until well-integrated and smooth. Set aside. (If you don’t have an immersion blender, use a blender).
- To serve Strawberry Basil Cottage Cheese: add cottage and lemon zest to a large serving bowl. Mix in zest until well-combined. Top with basil oil to taste, then using a small spatula, swirl basil throughout cottage cheese. Top with strawberry slices, pistachios, hot honey, and poppy seeds. Enjoy!
