Garlic Tomato Confit Recipe
Our Garlic Tomato Confit recipe is the ultimate topping for crostini—the blend of tomato, garlic, serrano peppers, and burrata cheese is perfection. Not every dish needs a bunch of prep labor! Just toss these ingredients in a baking dish and let the oven do the work.

Ingredients
- 16 oz grape tomatoes
- 2 1/2 garlic heads, each clove peeled
- 2 Tbsp red wine vinegar
- 1/2 – 3/4 cup fresh herbs, finely chopped (parsley, basil, oregano, etc)
- Olive oil
- Cracked salt
- Cracked pepper
- 2 serranos, halved
- 1-2 4oz balls of burrata cheese
- 1 Italian bread loaf, sliced and made into crostini
COOKING INSTRUCTIONS:
Garlic Tomato Confit
- Preheat oven to 400º.
- In a shallow baking dish, add tomatoes, garlic, fresh herbs, vinegar, oil, and salt and pepper to taste. Toss. Oil should reach about halfway up baking dish’s contents. Cover dish tightly with foil. Bake for ~45 minutes or until garlic cloves are easily mashable and spreadable. Remove from oven. Keep foil on while making crostini.
- Remove foil. Break open burrata and lay on top of confit. Top burrata with cracked salt. Serve with crostini. Enjoy.
