Hangry Caribbean Rum Punch Recipe

Our Hangry Caribbean Rum Punch isn’t that bowl of fruit punch that some dork spiked at a 1950s prom. It’ll make a sailor go ARRRR and make a PSL infinity scarf go EEEEE. This drink is a drink to celebrate the dog days of summer and scare away all those pumpkin spice landlubbers talking about witches in mid-August.

Ingredients

  • 1 oz Appleton Estate 8 Years Rum
  • 1 oz mezcal
  • 1/2 oz passionfruit liqueur
  • 1/2 oz velvet falernum
  • 1/4 oz Averna
  • 1/2 lime, juiced
  • 1/2 orange, juiced
  • 1/4 oz simple syrup
  • Orange wedge, for garnish
  • Lime peel, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a shaker, combine all ingredients with ice. Shake until well-chilled. Pour into a rocks glass without ice. Garnish with orange wedge and lime peel on a cocktail spear.
