Ingredients
Frying Chicken Parm Sliders
- 2 chicken breasts, pounded to 1/2” thick & quartered
- Garlic powder
- Salt
- Pepper
- 1 cup flour
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 2 cups Panko crumbs (unseasoned)
- 1 Tbsp garlic powder
- 1 Tbsp dried oregano
- 1 Tbsp dried basil
- 1 tsp crushed red pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- Canola oil for frying

- Marinara sauce
- Italian blend cheese, shredded
- Italian bread peppers (pepper rings, herbs, oil, vinegar, garlic)
- 8 homemade garlic knots or slider buns, halved
COOKING INSTRUCTIONS:

Frying Chicken Parm Sliders
- Season chicken with garlic powder, salt, and pepper to taste. Set aside.
- Place flour, eggs, and Panko in separate bowls. Season Panko with 1 Tbsp each of garlic powder, oregano, and basil, then 1 tsp each of crushed red pepper, salt, and pepper.
- Working one piece of chicken at at time, dredge in flour, then eggs, then Panko. Set dredged pieces on parchment paper.
- Heat oil in pan to 400ºF. 3 pieces of chicken at a time, fry on each side for about 2-3 minutes or until golden brown. Internal temp should be 165º.
Building Chicken Parm Sliders
- On a parchment lined tray, top each chicken piece with marinara sauce, then an Italian blend of cheeses.
- Set your oven to Broil High. Broil chicken until cheese is melted and bubbling, slightly golden brown.
- To build the sandwich, place chicken piece on bottom half of bread. Top with Italian peppers, then more marinara sauce. Place top half of bread. Serve immediately.
