Christmas Moscow Mule Recipe

This Christmas Moscow Mule brings together the holiday spices we love with a little tropical sensibility. The natural baking spice notes in the barrel-aged rum are amplified by the allspice dram and ginger beer, then Christmas’d up even more with orange and pomegranate, while mango reminds everybody that the winter holidays and tropical food overlap A LOT. Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz barrel-aged rum
  • 1/2 oz orange liqueur
  • 1/2 oz allspice dram
  • 1 oz POM
  • 1/2 oz mango juice
  • 1/4 oz pomegranate molasses
  • 1/2 lime, juiced
  • 3 oz ginger beer
  • Orange wheel, for garnish
  • Lime leaf, for garnish
  • Pomegranate seeds, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large-bowled wine glass, add all ingredients except ginger beer. Swirl in glass for 10 seconds to combine. Fill glass with ice, then top with ginger beer. Garnish with orange wheel, lime leaf, and pomegranate seeds.
