Chocolate Orange Tart Recipe

Ingredients
Chocolate Orange Tart Crust
- 8 whole chocolate graham crackers OR 2 cups chocolate teddy grahams
- 1/4 cup brown sugar, tightly packed
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
Chocolate Orange Tart Filling & Topping
- 6 oz cream cheese, room temperature
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 2 tsp fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup semi-sweet baker’s chocolate, coarsely chopped
- 2 blood oranges
- 2 navel oranges
COOKING INSTRUCTIONS:

- Preheat oven to 375ºF.
- In a food processor, blend crackers and sugar together until a coarse crumb forms. Add butter and process until crumbs are evenly moistened. Press crumb mixture evenly into 9″ tart pan with removable bottom. Bake until crust is firm to touch (about 8 mins). Remove from oven and let cool.
Chocolate Orange Tart Filling & Topping
- Using electric hand mixer, beat cream cheese and sugar in a medium bowl until smooth. Beat in sour cream, lemon juice, and vanilla.
- Melt chocolate according to package instructions. Beat chocolate into filling.
- Spread filling evenly over cooled crust. Cover with plastic wrap and chill until firm (at least 4 hours).
- When ready to serve, peel both oranges, then slice them into thin wheels. Arrange in a scalloped fashion over top of tart. Slice tart and enjoy!
