COOKING INSTRUCTIONS:
Jalapeño Pineapple Glazed Ham
Jalapeño Pineapple Glaze
- In a small saucepan off of heat, whisk together all ingredients (except jalapeño) until well-combined. Stir in jalapeño. Bring to a boil then reduce to simmer, continuing to simmer for 10-15 minutes so that the sauce coats the back of a spoon (but not too thick). Set aside.
Jalapeño Pineapple Glazed Ham
- Preheat oven to 325ºF.
- Arrange pineapple then jalapeños over roasting pan rack. Place ham cut side-down on top of pineapple and jalapeños. Brush some glaze evenly over ham.
- Bake ham for 30 minutes intervals, removing from oven between intervals to brush with more glaze until ham reaches an internal temp of 130ºF (you’re just reheating already cooked ham). An ~8lb ham takes about 2 – 2.5 hours.
- Remove ham from oven and let rest 10 mins. Carve as desired. Garnish with pineapple and jalapeños from roasting pan, then pomegranate seeds. Enjoy!
